Resetting the MG set:
Brief: Press and hold the BIG BLACK button until the blue "Motor Running" light is on.
If you are unsure of what you doing, you have about 10 minutes from the start of the power outage to call and/or page an expert.

In the event of a power outage:
- There may be no alarms in the control room, since these also run on building power. Moreover this web page will not be accessible.
- After power comes back (or the AGS emergency back up generators are operating) you must restart the MG set by hand. Hint: you may check that the power is okay by seeing if the target control equipment is functioning. If that is dead, there is no ememergency power yet.
- Assuming power is available, all you should have to do is press and hold the BIG BLACK button until the blue "Motor Running" light is on.
- If the blue light did not come on, and the UPS A/C fail alarm did not clear, call/page an expert. Your expert of choice for this system is Eric Scott. You are probably, at this point headed for distruction, you may pray.
